NEW LEADERS
Scouter Kryssaundra Sinclair
My name is Kryssi, I am passionate about animals and nature. I grew up in Hamilton Ontario, but I was never really a city girl. Any chance I got, I would be camping and hiking. My grandmother lived just outside of Sundridge Ontario and I spent my winter and summer breaks up North with her, which is also when I met my now husband.
BIO: I was an elite swimmer and triathlete at a young age, in fact Lake Bernard was when my swim career began thanks to Carol Guthrie who encouraged me to join a swim team in Hamilton when I was 5 years old.
I enjoy challenges and became a member of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry from 2006-2010, which gave me ample experience in the wilderness. During that time I was in school for Veterinary Technology, and when I graduated in 2010, I took this opportunity to look to the North and move from the city. I was a Registered Veterinary Technician in Sundridge from 2010-2022. I was finally at “home” when we purchased our family home in Magnetawan in 2012. I am now a mother of 2 beautiful children.
I am excited to share my love of nature and animals with the youth in our community.
